Welcome to Clowning Around Corals.  I have been in the hobby for over 30 years now.  My obsession began when I noticed the beautiful blue glow coming from my next door neighbor's apartment window in college. We became great friends and still travel to frag swaps together to this day.  We built a basic but sturdy stand and set up a 20 gallon long with a Skilter protein skimmer.  (I was on a college student budget.)
